Season summary: 2010-11 season

A new name was etched on the league championship trophy - that of East Stanley WMC, who went through the season unbeaten - and made it two titles in successive seasons, after winning the 2nd Division as Tantobie Oak Tree in 2009-10.

Deposed champions Annfield Plain Demi had to settle for the runners-up spot, but gained some consolation by lifting the Consett Charity Cup.

Leadgate Golden Lion and Tanfield Peacock made it two promotions in as many seasons, but this time the Peacock had to settle for the 2nd Division runners-up spot behind champions the Lion - a reversal of their 3rd Division positions the previous season.

In Division 3, Lanchester Cricket Club were crowned champions after a successful first season in the league, and because Washington Oasis resigned on completion of their fixtures to join another league, third-placed Beamish took the second promotion place.

In the cups, Chopwell Central did a double, winning the Jack Grigg Memorial Cup and Harkness Trophy, while the Golden Lion made it a league and cup double, lifting the Abbey Trophy.

The Peacock crowned a successful season by lifting the Consett Aged Miners' Charity Cup, making up for their defeat in last season's final, and, last but not least, Pelton Crown won the third division cup, the Iveston Bowl.
